Live Different Academy accepting applications from students interested in social justice

Live Different is accepting applications for its Live Different Academy program.

Live Different is accepting applications for its Live Different Academy program for September 2017.

Live Different Academy is designed for people interested in learning more about social justice and international development. Participants selected in the program will spend thirteen weeks in Mexico, where they will study spanish, volunteer with local organizations, experience ‘a week in the life of a migrant worker,’ complete a building project, and explore volcanoes and local cultural attractions.

“It is an incredible program and past students have loved what they have learned and expereinced during their time with the Academy,” said Peter Kranenburg, the academy program lead at Live Different.

The program, which will run from September to December 2017, is open to students graduating high school, individuals working full-time, or attending a college or university this fall. To apply for the academy program, click here.
