16 powerful photos from Toronto’s protest against the #MuslimBan

Yesterday, hundreds of diverse people gathered outside of the US Consulate in Toronto to protest President Donald Trump’s immigration ban.

In fact, the planned protest, organized through the

Facebook event “We support refugees + Muslims” was enough to shut the Consulate down for the day. Despite weather that felt like -15 degrees Celsius, protestors made their way to stand outside the Consulate to demonstrate, chant, and express their solidarity with those affected by the recent ban.

Another protest is scheduled to take place this Saturday, Feb. 4 at 12:30 p.m. outside the Consulate, with more than 5,000 people already saying they plan to attend.
